Meet the Owner / Groomers
Hope developed a love for animals early, having owned dogs, cats, guinea pigs and even a hedgehog. She trained locally at the Academy of Animal Arts in Largo, completing both the professional pet grooming program as well as the advanced program. After graduation, she worked at Woof Gang Bakery and Grooming in St. Petersburg for five years where she worked with all breeds and sizes of dogs. She is very excited to take on this new adventure as both a groomer and the owner of Southpaw Spa as of November 2023.
Outside of the salon, Hope enjoys music, dancing, skateboarding and the beach. Hope was a member of Largo High School's marching band all through high school and has played many instruments (saxophone, guitar, drums, and ukulele).

Brittany has been grooming at Southpaw Spa since early 2024, having 14 years of experience in the pet care industry. She has been grooming dogs for almost 5 years and is also certified as a veterinary assistant. Brittany enjoys grooming a wide variety of dogs but “squishies” have a special place in her heart, being a proud parent of two adorable, special need pugs, Bellatrix and Bumi. Brittany’s special grooming power is nail trims under pressure. Brittany also specializes in dog safe color treatments that are sure to make your dog the center of attention at the dog park!
